When partnering between two businesses who share the same marketplace is set up properly, everyone involved wins and you get the credit of finding extra helpful items for your customers to make use of. After all I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like to get something for FREE!
So how does Partnering work?
Each individual business would have their own unique variation of partnering, but at Builders Profits we work with those we partner with to provide a win for your client, a win for you and in the process we also win – everybody wins.
Generally speaking when a partner joins with us, we work out with the individual business we are talking to, what their customers would find the most helpful from our resources, it could be a session with a business coach to identify problem areas and provide suggestions and strategies, it could be downloadable resources, or it could be a training program.
The aim is to provide something that your customer’s want or need, making you stand out from your competition by being seen as taking a special interest in helping your customers further.
So how do your customers win?
By offering you something of value to them, to help them with their needs that you can give to them as a gift for being a client of yours, they get extra help with their needs without extra cost to them.
How do you win?
By providing extra services and business help to your customers, you add value to your business,
Increase their opinion of you as a supplier and foster a feeling of being a valued by your company in your customers’ eyes.
Happy customers who feel valued are the best referral strategy any business can have as they recommend you to anyone without hesitation.
How do we win?
We believe that by providing this win/win situation and giving people what they want, we will be rewarded as well, as there may be some customers who would like some more help with their business and this is where our win will come from.
We are passionate about helping builders and contractors improve their businesses so that they can build the business of their dreams where they have the profits, lifestyle and freedom having your own business should provide.
What do you offer as give-aways when partnering?
Each individual business has its own preference for what it would like to offer, but the main thing you need to look for when considering partnering with someone to add more value to your business customers and make you stand out above your competition is to ensure what you offer them is something that is helpful to them.
Part of how we work with JV partners is providing services on behalf of your business – this could include special webinars, internal training for your team and revenue sharing.
We have a number of resources from free webinars, marketing evaluator tool, free marketing audit, eBooks etc. that could be offered and we discuss options further with potential JV partners to determine what would be of most value to their clients on an individual basis.
Finding businesses to partner with that can offer complimentary services and add extra value to them is a great way to grow your business without needing to spend a cent!
