Although customer interaction is indeed an administrative task, administration is more than that.
Administration makes sure that your day-to-day operations are running smoothly and efficiently so you can focus on making other priorities.
Administrative tasks can be outsourced to somebody else or can be delegated to your team members. However, other business owners are not really fond of letting somebody else takeover of what they usually do themselves or they don’t know which tasks to give away.
